Birds of Prey 2: DC Characters Who Should Make An Appearance
If DC decides to make Birds of Prey 2, then several characters deserve to appear in the sequel. Birds of Prey(And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) was released on Feb 7 but didn’t do well on the box office even though the reviews were positive. Despite the dismal performance of Birds of Prey 2, Margot Robbie has decided to return as Harley Quinn in the further spin-offs and sequels. Margot Robbie is all set to respond in a Gotham City Sirens along with the team of Birds of Prey.
Several reports have confirmed that the stars of Birds of Prey along with Matt Reeves who is going to show his mettle in upcoming The Batman are all obligated contractually to perform again in their roles in the spin-off and sequels. The fans of Birds of Prey are still in the hope that Warner Bros. will soon work on the sequel of the film despite the dismal box office performance of the film. The film has still a lot of ground which could be further developed into a strong story and if it happens then, here is an overview of some characters who should appear into Birds of Prey 2:-
Lady Blackhawk
Zinda Blake alias Lady Blackhawk belonged to Blackhawks, the aviator squadron who took part in World War 2. She has a varied and comprehensive knowledge of weaponry and aircraft technology and was renowned combat and aviation expert in Blackhawks. She fought in world war two along with serving the Blackhawks and then began to use her expertise in the fight against the crime. Zinda came in the modern time by time-twisting cross over Zero hour along the side of superheroes of DC Universe and then Oracle recruited her as the official pilot of the team in Birds of Prey. She could be hired as an official jet pilot, and her appearance can be ensured in further spin-off.
Oracle
Barbara Gordon alias Oracle took the cover of Oracle, and the expert hacker can hack and communicate with any network for the heroes of the DC Universe. She could make an appearance in the further sequel, but it depends on the will of Matt Reeves whether he wanted her to introduce or not. She is responsible for the new extension of the team of Birds of Prey by including several prominent female superstars.
Katana
The introduction of Katana in the further sequel of the movie is not going to be complicated any more seeing her already appeared in the DCEU, which became possible due to the Suicide Squad of David Ayer. Katana has contacted the group for hunting down Harley Quinn, and this could make her appearance in the sequel quite comfortable. Tatsu Toro alias Katana is the owner of the Sword having the ability to feel and stealing the souls. She is an expert in martial arts and took her revenge with Yakuza and Takeo. Takeo was her brother in law and the member of Yakuza and killed the husband and children of Tatsu in envy.
Lady Shiva
Sandra Wu-San alias Lady Shiva is a martial art expert and shares a unique relationship with Black Canary based on respect as both of them were getting the training in martial arts from the same martial art master. She got the training from David Cain, an assassin and martial art expert along with her sister Carolyn but Cain killed Carolyn. David Cain did so as he felt that Sandra is stopping herself due to her sister, and later Sandra wanted to kill Cain to take revenge but forgave him. She further devoted her whole life to the mastery of martial arts and skilled herself in the fighting art. She could make her appearance while contacting her daughter Cassandra Cain who is living with her foster family.
Cheshire
Jade Nguyen also known as Cheshire, is not only trained in guerrilla fighting but also has mastery over poisons. She was born to a Vietnamese mother, and her father was from France but was sold by her parents. She gets trapped in child slavery and has to face the years of trauma. She made her escape by killing the people who enslaved her and emerged as a ruthless assassin.
Manhunter
Kate Spencer is also known as Manhunter has got the recognition for her fatal, violent and deadly tactics to deal with the criminals. Once the federal prosecutor took the task to teach the lesson to the criminals when she found that even the most dangerous criminals could escape the punishment. Kate killed super villain Copperhead when he fled the custody was responsible for several murders. She could make her appearance in the sequel while working along the side of the team of newly founded vigilantes.
