How to Make the Best Use of Samsung Galaxy Buds Live
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live launched in early August, and it has been in massive demand for its wireless technology and the unique bean-shaped design that produces ergonomic sound. The speakers optimize themselves based on their surroundings. The Active Noise Cancellation reduces background noise by up to 97% in low-frequency bands. It offers great comfort, fit, and fantastic performance. But it can go beyond that, and if you own a pair of Galaxy Buds Live, then following are the tips you should know to get the best of this device:
Update your earbuds
These days, every device needs an update to provide you with the best qualities and functions. Your Galaxy Buds Live also needs such updates so that you can get the best audio experience. And not only the earbuds, but you must also update the device your Galaxy Buds Live are connected with and following are the steps to do it:
- For smartphone or tablet updates, go to the Settings of your device. Then click on Software Update and select Download and Install.
- To update the earbuds, you will need the Galaxy Wearable app on your device. On the app, click on Earbud Software Update.
Don’t forget to update the Galaxy Wearable app either.
Tweak the touch functions
Your Galaxy Buds Live comes with a few touch functions set by default, which includes a single tap for play & pause; double tap for next track & ending a call; triple-tap to go to the previous song; touch & hold for declining a call. But you can tweak them anytime according to your preferences. For that, you again need the Galaxy Wearable app and the following steps:
- Tap on Touch Controls, and you’ll find the Touch and Hold sub-section.
- From there, select either Left or Right.
- Then, you can assign different functions to the earbuds like Voice Command, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Volume tweaking, and more.
Reduce Audio Latency
Bluetooth devices tend to delay the audio where the users don’t get to hear the audio that matches the scene playing on the screen. This mostly happens while playing video games. Fortunately, you can resolve this issue by moving your Galaxy Buds Live closer to the connected device. In case you’ve paired a Samsung phone or tablet with the earbuds, you can use the Gaming Mode feature to reduce audio delay. To use this feature, go to the Galaxy Wearable app and tap on Labs. Switch on the toggle for Gaming Mode.
Charge the Charging Case
On a single full charge, your Galaxy Buds Live offers eight hours of playback, and using the case provides you 21 hours of charging. You can recharge your charging case as well, and there are two ways to do them. The easiest way is to use the USB-C charging cable, and the other way is to use wireless charging. You only need to place the charging case at the center of the wireless charger. You can use Samsung’s wireless charger for this or get any third-party wireless charger.
You can also use the PowerShare feature for charging. For this, you must have a compatible Samsung device. Place the case on the back of the compatible device and the phone’s battery will charge the earbuds as well.
Try all the features and tips mentioned above to enhance your experience. Also, make sure that you are wearing the earbuds correctly as the placement is highly responsible for the sound quality you receive.
